Office
The Eyes Open Space, headquarters of Chamni’s Eye Studio, represents a milestone in Atelier of Architects’ ongoing dialogue with Thailand’s creative industry. Following earlier collaborations on studio renovations, this project marked a new chapter: the creation of a dedicated headquarters for one of the country’s most respected fashion and multimedia photography houses . The design balances rawness and flexibility, reflecting the dual needs of an office and a production space. Interiors were conceived as open, reconfigurable environments where desks could be rearranged freely, and where the absence of a rigid ceiling grid encouraged freedom of movement and experimentation. These qualities were essential to support the photographic and multimedia work at the core of Chamni’s Eye, where adaptability and spontaneity are part of the creative process. Externally, the building was initially envisioned with a bold vertical fin façade referencing the studio’s identity. Yet during construction, even before the façade was installed, the unfinished structure revealed a striking purity of form and function. The decision to retain this raw expression underscored Atelier of Architects’ philosophy: that architecture need not hide behind decorative layers when the essence of its structure and space can already embody beauty and clarity . As Chamni’s Eye transitioned into a public company and expanded its creative influence, Eyes Open Space became a physical reflection of its evolution—an environment that is at once photogenic, collaborative, and emblematic of growth. It stands as a testament to the synergy between architecture and the arts, where space is not just a backdrop but an active participant in the creative process.
