The KKDR Residence is conceived as a modern family home that balances geometric discipline with the warmth of daily living. Set on a site defined by both openness and intimate boundaries, the project is shaped around the idea of creating a private sanctuary that remains visually expansive—an architecture that protects, connects, and calms. The design begins with a precise geometric composition, arranging the house around a central circulation spine that organizes movement and creates long, uninterrupted sightlines. This spatial clarity allows the living, dining, and family rooms to flow seamlessly into one another while maintaining quiet zones for rest and privacy. Each space is anchored by proportion and alignment, giving the home a sense of visual stability and understated presence. A defining gesture of the KKDR Residence is its use of layered façades and softened thresholds. Deep eaves, vertical fins, and recessed glazing create a buffer between the house and its surroundings—managing heat, filtering light, and providing privacy without sacrificing openness.
